Deletion not allowed: SH is mandatory function - IDoc Error

Guyz,

we have setup to accept DEBMAS into our r/3 as an inbound idoc..... we extended the DEBMAS to include a custom segment and rest all we're using standard stuff in ALE Config....

suddenly from today onwards few of the idocs are getting errored with "Deletion not allowed: SH is mandatory function" error....

upon tracing the culprit code I found that it's happening in standard SAP Code....

any suggestions/pointers pls ?

Are you creating customers, or changing customers? Looks like you got some IDocs where the ship-to partner is deleted, so you are getting this error. Check with your functional/configuration specialist, if they changed the partner functions recently.

Which Idoc type are you using?

IDoc is extension of DEBMAS and this idoc is trying to create a customer....

In IDoc segment E1KNVPM, there could be a partner function in PARVW field but partner number might not be present in IDoc field KUNN2.

Did you check this?
