Hi Folks,
I have a problem in deleting the Transport request . it says Request/task cannot be deleted because it contains locked objects. It contains the dictionary object which has been deleted from the database.
I am trying to create a same object again, when assign a new package it says object is locked under that request..
Please help me to solve this problem.

Shanti,
First delete the objects tagged to that request from the TR and then you create a new TR so that you can assign these objects to the newly created TR.I guess you will be having authorisation to delete the objects tagged to a TR but not for deleting the TR itself.

Hi,
Your transport request may have the locked object. If you delete this directly you will have to confirm for each object. To avoid this you can goto SE03, select unlock object and then give all of your request numbers, which you want to delete, one by one. Once all of the objects are unlocked you can go back to SE09/SE10 and start from the lowest request. First delete contents of that request and then delete the request. Keep on moving up till you have deleted all the requests.

Hi,
Delete the object from Transport request and then delete the TR or u can use the same TR to recreate the object in diff. package.

Hi Santhi,
Double click on the request, Click the Edit Button from the tool bar, now select the Obejct that u deleted from the data base.. remove it by clicking the - icon or click on the Unlock tool on the Object TAB.
Once this is done.. then back.. now u can delete the Request...

Hi
Do you find any LOCK symbol before your request .
Check it SE10 TCODE ..
May your program contains breakpoints ot not in active version .
Check it and get rid of that then automatically lock symbol disappear .
