Delete text field on screen

Hello Friends,

i am applying one SAP Note. We are asked to delete some of the text fields on screen and to add one push button. but i have no idea how to delete text fields on screen. now i am in editable mode but not able to delete. for example i have text field RG23A with name %#AUTOTEXT001 and text as RG23A. i want to delete this.

please help.

use transaction SHD0-- Transaction and Screen Variants, to remove screen fields.

First try with Modification assistant and try deleting fields on screen ...else ....switch off Modification assistant from Edit Menu and they try deleting fields. It should work

Do you want to delete/Disable standard screen field ?

Have you tried screen exit ?
