Default layout setting in Database view

How can we set the default layout option in DataBase view .

When i check in layout management Default option is disabled.

Do you mean the layout management in an ALV? Or which transaction do you mean? And in which screen is this "default" field you mention, exactly?

when you go to the layout mgt.

there you will find the option to make you layout defalut.
