De-implement / De-activate a OSS Note

Hello All,

I need to de-implement / de-activate the code changes made through OSS notes, OSS Note got already implemented through Support pack.

This note was not implemented using tcode: SNOTE

I tried to find that OSS Notes using SNOTE, by clicking the SAP Note Browser, but couldnt do it.

Please let me know any other way of doing it.

Thanks,

Sridhar

Hi Sridhar,

Let me see, you need to deimplement a note that in fact was implemented through service pack, right? A bit weird and would ask you why you need to do that?

But answering your question, you can't see that note in SNOTE because most probably it was not downloaded to it (once was implemented through SP). Try to do that (SNOTE and then menu Goto->Download SAP note) and then see if you can deimplement it (what I highly doubt but we never know..). Please tell us if you succeeded.

Regards,

Edgar

Hello Edgar,

Good idea, i downloaded the note tried to implement, it showed that the corrections not valid for implementation, tried to de-implement it says OSS notes cannot be de-implement / reset as it was not implemented.

Any other option ???

Thanks,

Sridhar

If I remember, SNOTE wont allow you to de-implement a NOTE you did not implement, you could try SPAU, but better raise an OSS message (http://service.sap.com/message )

If you actually think there is an error (and you are in a hurry) you could modify the code manually but that will be considered a modification of course (http://service.sap.com/sscr)
