DB Upgrade

Hi Friends,

We are upgrading DB(Oracle) in to newer version. I want to know whether it effect any programs and tables or any techical or functional things.

Kindly replay.

The only thing i can think of from a abaper perspective is if any of the custom programs use Native SQL instead of Open SQL. those might get affected.

Besides that I think all other code is database independent.

Hi,

You wont be having any problem with the database upgrade.

Incase if any syntax(Native SQL) has been outdated in the newer version of the database then you might have a problem.

Visit http://service.sap.com and find the ups and downs while upgrading your database!
