Date conversion

Dear Friends,

Is there a function module,where i pass the date in

any format like ddmmyyyy mmyyyydd i should get the

output always in yyyymmdd.

HR_HK_CONV_DATE_TO_INTN_FORMAT

Use Date Type 'DATS'.

Just curious based on your requirement.

would you consider 01022005 as Jan 02' 2005(mmddyyyy) or Feb 01' 2005(ddmmyyyy) or Jan 05' 0220(mmyyyydd)

don't take this the wrong way, but there has to be a predetermined format for input and output for any conversion. hope you agree.

Please specify what the input format is and probably you will get better answers!

I agree with you. It is s significant a point that we cannot go ahead with the solution without resolving this.
