Hi Sandeep,

To explain in a better way, think that you created a custom table having five fields and the data is inserted too. After some time you may wanted to add a sixth field. So, in this case, after adding this addition field you need to adjust and activate the database so that there won't be any inconsistencies between the data dictionary and the database.

In another example, you might want to delete an unwanted field from the existing table, even in this case you need adjust and activate the database.
