Hi,

I have a request to change table XXXX from a "configuration table to a data table". and "Assign the maintenance of this to a custom transaction"

1.Now I checked Technical setting of the table, it is assigned to one data class USR20 (Customer data Class..created by SAPDBA)..so should I chnage the data class to APPL1 or APPL0 meet the need?

Now if i move this change to poducion system, will it affect the existing data?

2.For the transaction code part, should I assign a Z-transaction to SM30 for hat table?

Reward points guranteed.

Hi Andreas,

"1. No"

I asked will it effect the exsting data in Production?

Should I take this 'No' for this question.

And what abut the data clas APPL0 or AppL1?

hi,

there shall be <b>no</b> effect.

can't you test it on your dev.- or preproduction - system?

Transport your table with TA se11 from prod to dev :

R3TR TABU XXXX

Hi,

Mark the check box 'Table maintenance generator' in the attributes ticked.

Yes, u can maintain using SM30. U nned to create screen for the SM30 data maintenance of your table.

Assign the screen number in the table properties.

If found helpful, award points pls..
