Hi,

I have observed that the table VBDATA has been showing steady growth and there seems to be no control to reduce the entries.

How to check the DB statistics of the table VBDATA?

VBDATA should only have temporary entries while update tasks are being processed. Since it is growing, there might be a problem with the update process in your system. Can you see cancelled or initial update tasks in SM13? These should be analysed and re-processed or sometimes deleted, depending on the case.
