Data vanishing after some time

Hi,

We have enhanced standard info type 9 & added a custom field.

in PAI defaulting some value to this custom field.

In PA30 when we make changes to existing records it defaults the valu in the custom field and when we save it it saves to data base.

After some time the value in this field vanishes.

Any idea on this?

Hi

The value is not saved in the database but only in buffer. If value is actually saved in database table PA0009, if will reflect in infotype screen at any given time.

After saving the entries in PA30 i can see value in custom field in SE11 pa0009 table.

but after some time that value for custom field vanishes.

check if value is getting updated in the infotype . if yes then try to check if PO module which displays the dat on the screen is new field is getting the value in PBO or not.

In PBO value is there and it updates the data in DB.

After some time say 20 min data in the custom field vanishes.

The issue is we schedule a back ground job program RBDMIDOC to capture the master data changes for info types .

This program causing to vipe the data in the custom field .

Any idea on this?

Hi

Create Audit log for infotype 0009 and check the user by which record is changed.

To create Audit log, make entries in -

1. V_T585A

2. V_T585B

3. V_T585C

Then run the report RPUAUD00 or tcode PC00_M16_UAUD (Payroll audit trail). Check if the record is changed by the user used to schedule background job.

That config is already active and it shows my ID and custom filed value is cleared

Can you create a record for IT0009 and then schedule a background job with some other user id?

This will conclude incase the data is deleted by the BG job. In which case, we can move forward.

in order to update salary changes i.e IT 8 through standard compensation process

entries needs to be there in config table V_T510_ANSAL
