data upload

Hi,

I have a certain requirement that I upload master data from a Excel spreadsheet into SAP (using LSMW).

I have a query if there is any row limitation (of 65000max lines) to upload from excel at a time.

I have a huge data upload.

Please help.

Yes, there is a limitation for number of records from Excel side.

Instead of excel , use a CSV file or a text file.

Thank you very much for the clarification.

But the according to the requirement the i/p file is in excel only.

So is there any way to handle this issue during upload or the only way is that the file be split (not desirable in my requirement).

Excel 2007 can handdle more 1 000 000 lines.
