i didnt mention any type in declaration.

what is the default type?? char or int or float??

REPORT ZFLOAT .

parameters: b(5),

c(5).

DATA: a type p.

a = b * c.

write : / a.

Hi,

In ABAP by default the system will take Char type, if we dont declare any type for a variable in data declaration.
