Hi all,

Please any body tell me the procedure to Archive files from Application server?

If there is any FM please let me know..

Hi,

Why do you want to archive the files on the application server, usually as a technical consultant you move the files to the backup directory once the operation is completed then the basis consultant will archive them on a quarterly basis or so to create space on application server.

They will be having couple of scripts which will archive and move them to the secondary storage.

By archive 'files' do you mean archive data such as sales orders (transaction SARA) or content management (storing files associated to business objects)?
