hi

good

check in the se09, under the request number it is stored, if it is showind the same name there also than delete the request number and create a new request number and see how is is displaying in se10.

if you have save the table properly in the request than it shouldn't show a different name in se10.

thanks

This is quite ok..

when you see the entry in SE10 it shows other info like type of object, program ID, and name

Here R3TR is prrogram ID

tabl is type of object and last is yourt table name..

it is perfectly alright .

double click on it and it will take you to orignal table

Hope this helps .. points appriciated.

I guess u changed ur question...anyways..reg

Data migration can happen for many reasons, either company is changing is hardware decisions,or software decisions or going for upgrades,or mergers and aquisitions...so many reasons..depending on reason there r different solutions. starting with SAP tools Like LSMW,SCATTs to using reports like RHMOVE30 on a larger scale eiether choose between

SAP'S own SAP Test Data migration server

or Winshuttle, which is very popular third party s/w there r many options.

also there r many 3rd party solutions which offer data migration tools for SAP.

HOPE IT WAS HELPFUL
