i hav 1 lack material master records in Legasy system .. which method is best to up loded the data into r/3 database call trans.. or session method ..

other wise shall i use std report RMDATIND....direct input method ..

Hi,

If you have huge data to upload then Session Method should be the correct choice. I have faced the similar situation, after some analysis I have decided to go for Session as I found it best.

Hi rajviji,

1. Practically, Session method is better.

The simple reason is that

it give lot of flexibility to the user.

(error handling, checking data while running in foreground, etc.

shal i use RMDATIND...is it any disadvantages in ths method ... . we can also see erro log in RMDATINF ... which is the best ...

Hi again,

1. I have not used that program

2. But it looks promising,

it gives many options for uploading.

3. I think u can go for it.

4. The only thing will be it seems,

that the file format should be as per

what the program requries.
