Hello,

I want to compile some information the challanges, tools,or complex issues involved for data migration / transfer from SAP to Non SAP or SAP to SAP or from Non SAP to SAP or from R2 to R3. Can somebody provide me some links,information etc.

There are various technologies availale to migrate or exchange data between different systems.

You have the following options

ALE-> Between SAP to SAP or between SAP to Non-SAP within an organization.

EDI->Mainly for dataexchange between different systems of your vendor.For eg between Company A and Company B.

XI/PI->The most powerful and latest integeration platform that helps you to realise cross system business process across multiple systems and across multiple vendors.
