Data object in unicode programs cannot be converted

Hello All,

While trying to  send mail from a sap report the error occure,''Data object in Unicode programs cannot be converted'.

Presently m trying to send data in binary format and passing the out put in contents_hexparameter table parameter in 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1'. I m using binary format bcoz m unable to send more than 255 char in excel.
