I am working on ECATT i want data in test data container from any excel file or any text file, means i want to import data in test data container using any external file like excel sheet.

Follow the steps,
create the scripts.
T Code SECATT
save local object
Go to Pattern > secect all comand > Tcd (Record) > Enter transaction
Give mandatoty fields to record the transaction.
System asking to transfer the data > Yes
save
Select parameter <-> command interface then click Display parameter Value
Right Bottom see the screen
Select Dynpro> open Up >Open up > Double click on fileds
Value column ,you see the mandatory fields,that you have been enter earlier.Remove those values give some names ( eg for Material = Mat )
Import the number.
Same way you have to open up one by one,double clik on fields ,remove the values and give the names after that import .
