Data gettng Truncated

hi all,

I am using LSMW to upload data.

I am trying to insert the following record.

OTYPE SHORT STEXT

O WATER QUALITY WATER QUALITY & REGULATORY ASSURANCE

For STEXT Data type is C and length is 40.

I am loading into HRP1000 table{Objects Table}.

My problem is 'stext' is getting truncated and in the step Display read data in LSMW I am seeing the value "WATER QUALITY & A"

It's less than 40 characters. I don't understand why it's getting truncated. I have checked the domain and data element for it. I dont see any issues there.

Please provide any iputs.

Hi,

Problems perhaps come for the fact that total length of your source definition is lower than extract (take a look on the way the read program is generated in LSMW).

In step 3 add a field NOTUSED type C 888 for example, and read data again to see if it solves your truncation problem.

The issue didn't repeat itself.

Data migration was done successfully.
