HI,

has any one modified the data element documentaion for any Data Elwement in CMOD.If so for what Data Elemet you have done and what was the necessaity.Plz do help me its too urgent i wud reward points for all the answers.

Data element modification is happen in SE11 Transaction ,not in CMOD.

if it is custom data element ,you can change in SE11 ,if it is SAP Standarad then you can't

1.say in CMOD , we can go to menu Goto> Text Enhancement>Dataelemt documentation -->new dataelement custome doc

after this what ever chagnes we make to the data ement documentation, only that gets displayed when we press f1 for that Dataelement.Have any one ever done this before for any dataelemet..if so for what and what was the purpose.

2.How to change the data element documentaion in se11?

Hi Rahul,

1. this will be used if you want to modify the documentation for the standard data element, and this is mostly used when you don't have documentation for a particular data element and it is must for the business to have the same.

2. If you go to SE11 and click on the data element, there you can find a push button for documentation on toolbar.
