Can we create table with out data element

and Can we create table with out domain

go to se11,

provide your table name,

change,

give field name ,

then select 'predefined type' push button,

provide data type and lenth,

now u can save and activate.

Yes,

we can create table with out data element

we can create table with out domain (without data elt means without domain)

while creating table in SE11 FIELDS tab click on PREDEFINED TYPE to avoid data elts.

Hi,

Ya, y not, u can create tables without data element as well as domain,

just like this,

go to se11,

provide your table name,

change,

give field name ,

then select 'predefined type' push button,

provide data type and lenth,

now u can save and activate.

create a feild and click on predefined tab,there u can give the data type and lenght specifications.

when you are creating table give the field name and go for predefined data type and length

hi,

the data elements and domains are used for giving the same charecteristics to different fields in different tables.

these are not mandatory while creating a table.

WE can create, but we have some disadvantages,

1. Table to table relation is not possible

2. This table data created under the client, this can be accessed by any other client, table can't client dependent table.

3. Table data can be accessed by apps using search helps.

4. table data can't transfer from current R/3 to remote R/3. using Idocs.

yes you can...

se11>table name > change...

add your field and hit the predefined type button.. and give the type you want to create..
