Hi,
you cannot create a field without a data element.
But you can use already existing data elements if you dont want to create new one.

Hi
Yes, you can create a table without data element. But with this the reusability of that field is not possible. This type of table we can create by clicking the builit in type tab in fields tab.

yes we can create a field without data element by directinput values option
where u specify the datatype and length directly during field creation.

Hi
To create a table we need Fields for Fields we need data elements for data elements we need domain.
This is the formal approach.
But without data element also you can create the Fields obviously the Table.
But creating the tables in this way u won't get the Field Descriptions and search help functionalities.

if you are talking about table fields then yes you can create a table field without using a data element.
there is a button 'Predefined type / Data element' on the screen. if you don't want a data element, then use predefined types for the field...
