data element search help

Hi experts,

How can i add search help to the data element <b>ABTEIL.</b>I can get registration key for this and I have ZTABLE to add search help.

Hi Kaki,

Goto SE11 , tablename--->change

put the cursor pn dataelement that u want to create search help , and click on search help button next to foreign key button and there u can assign search help

Hi..

Go to SE11 abd create your own search help.

But before doing that please verify whether you can use an already existing search help or not.

Then in the coding while declaring the variable of type ABTEIL , write matchcode-object name of your search help

say a like b match-code object ztest.
