Hi all,
I have downloaded data to a file on application server.
But when i see the file on application server thru t.code AL11,
only few of the fields are visible i.e., I am having 25 fields in the file and I am able to see only 12 fields for all the records.
Is there any option that I can see all the field values in the file from application server?
thanks

Hi Revanth,
u can download the file from AL11 to your PC and then you can see the total file.
try this way
System->List_>Save->Local file. and save it in your system
then you can see the total file,
Thanks

There is a limit for a record in application server. I am not sure if we can increase the limit but the only way to make it sure that all the data is there is to download the file and check it. using CG3Y you can download it.
Thanks.

Thanks Pavan,
But still I can able to download only few of the fields to local text file.
The no. of fields(12 out of 25 fields) which I am seeing in AL11, i am able download those(12 fields) to local file.
How can i get all the fields to flat file?
thanks

CG3Y is the tcode to download the file from application server to the local server(you have to give the source and destination path's).
CG3Z is the tcode to upload the file to application server.
Check with these. It should work.

All of them have the 256 character restriction. If your record length is longer than this, then simply ask your basis or network team to ftp the file to a shared folder on the network or your desktop.
