Data Conversion

Hi Experts,

I am in Data conversion team and would like to know about following things.

1. Data is loaded from source system to target sap system,is it into development server or into test or is it directly into production.

2. Do we maintain any data conversion client in development or test system.

3. Do we load data in empty client?

Let me know if anyone is working in Data Conversion.

If you are implementing SAP, you will want to load into test before production. You may encounter configuration or other issues. You may have to refresh the test client and rerun the data loads in order to get a clean picture of the conversion before doing it in the live system.
