what is customizing settings please dont use again customizing to define that?

Hi,

When you do any kind of configuration settings which needs to be transported, then they are included in the Transport request of type "Customizing request".

Any kind of functional configuration using trnx SPRO usually comes under customizing request. Usually client independent changes.

Padma,

Suppose you wish to ouput a purchase order other than the standard provided by SAP.

Goto SPRO > materials management > purchasing > Messages > Assign form and output program for purchase order.

Here you could tell the system the name of the form you wish to be printed when a po is produced.

Hi,

Example:

Go to NACE and select Purchase Order Application, EF and create one output type and after that select procedures and select a program name and assign thee output type.This will be generated in customizing request.
