Customize CATS_DA

Hi All,

I have a requirement to add two new columns (Org, manager) to the standard report generated by transaction cats-da.

Has anyone done that before and what would be the best approach to achieve this?

Hello Mark,

You can copy the report into a custom report and add the required column.

Goto SE80 -> Select the Program ->Right Click -> Create -> Transaction Code

and create a custom transaction code for the report.

But if you want to modify the standard report then you need a access key, and is not generally recommmended practise.

Thanks for your reply chandran.

When I copy the program, do I need to copy the subroutines as well into a z subroutines or should I just use the delivered subroutines and only create copies of the routines where I need modifications?

youy need to copy the standard report the zreport / subroutine will be existing in the system and they can be called from u r copied report so no need to copy a z program.
