Custom Save button

Hi gurus,

I need to create a custom button in sales order->additional data A.So when the user clicks on the button it should save the sales order.They will not use standard save button.When the custom button is clicked, then it needs to trigger my workflow and act like a standard save button as well.I have done with everything, but how should to code to save the sale order.
