Custom fields in LSMW error.

Hello Everyone,

     My requirement was to add custom tab to matmas and add some custom fields to it. I added those fields. Now I am facing trouble in the standard LSMW that is used to upload this data. One of the fields in these list of fields has type NUMC. If I leave it blank, it throws a dump with error as cannot interpret '/' as a number. So I tried to upload by passing values to this field e.g. 001, 002, 003 etc. Still I am getting the same dump. I am unable to understand from where is the '/' value being populated into the LSMW structures BMMH0, BMMH1 etc. I have implemented SAP note 44410 - Integrating customer-specific fields in the material master also for this.

At what point are you getting the dump... when you run the conversion, or later?

Hi Glen,

     I am getting the error after the conversion. In function module MAT_MOVE_BMMH1_MARC. I activated this function module as per note 44410 as I have added an append structure to table MARC.
