Custom Data Type

Hi,

Is there any provision in SAP to create user defiend data types? E.g. I

want to create new data type "ArabicChar" which would allow only Arabic

characters to be entered. Is it possible in SAP?

Any help would be highly regarded!!!

Nikhil no it is possible you can create user defined data type by declaring using types at DDIC level

but u can nt create such that it accepts only arabic chars no
