Currency format change

Dear Experts

My requirement is to change the format of currency ie. The value is 1000000.

a) If my currency type is USD the value should be displayed as 1,000,000 and

b) If my currency type is IND the value should be displayed as 10,00,000.

I searched in SDN for suitable Function module but unable to find it.

Kindly suggest me to acheive the above mentioned scenario.

WRITE lv_value TO lv_converted CURRENCY lv_curr.  (In lv_curr you specify USD or IND)

you must use the variables as type char.

Please tell your BASIS consultant to do it.

We also had the same issue. Our Currency format was in EUROS and our client wanted it in INR.

So the basis consultant did it by changing some settings in SPRO i guess.

Nevertheless, BASIS consultant can do it for you

I checked that i got a word we have to do it programatically through FMs or BAPI's.
