CUCB_GET_CONFIGURATION

Hi, i have to retrive the configuration values from a sales document relative to a material.

The function CUCB_GET_CONFIGURATION returns in the

CONFIGURATION table the names(ATINN) and the values of the caractheristic (ATWRT).

For the ATNN we can use the conversion routine for to retrive the description, but for the ATINN field i go directly on tables CAWN, CAWNT with key

In some cases (re-classification of the caract.) this does not works.

Is there another function or object which returns the correct value ?

Ric,

Use table AUSP. I donot know how SALES ORDER created variants are stored here. enter your ATINN value in SE12 for AUSP and determine the format of OBJEK for sales order

I don't think that there is any guarentee of the data if the configuration of classification/characterisitics is constantly changing.

Hi Rich,

faster than VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION ist the fm

VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION_IBASE - at least in our system.

It has almost the same output-table as VC_I_GET_CONFIGURATION.
