Hi All
I have installed ECC6.0 unicode and have applied the support packs SAP_Basis to 13 (SAPKB70013) and when i try try to apply the SAP_ABAP pack number 13 (SAPKA70013), the system gives an error which states that i have to apply some CRT's before applying the pack number 13.
I have never faced this error before.
I have updated the spam version to 23 from 21, have also applied SAP_ABAP pack number 12 (SAPKA70012),
I want to knwo what these CRT's are and how they have a affect on the system and stuff like that, including where to find these and how to download them.
Thank you in advance.

Conflict Resolution Transport
A Conflict Resolution Transport (CRT) is used exclusively for add-ons, for example, IS-H or IS-OIL. It is used to adjust Support Packages for an add-on.
A CRT that is valid for an add-on release also contains all adjustments for earlier releases of this add-on. A CRT can also contain other quality improvements for the add-on in question. A CRT can also be a special Component Support Package for an add-on software component.
CRTs are necessary if the add-on from an SAP partner modifies parts of the SAP standard.
Here, there is danger that the changed objects may be overwritten when importing Support Packages.
Therefore, the SAP Patch Manager (SPAM) always checks if there are conflicts between the installed add-ons and the Support Packages to be applied. If this is the case, the Support
Package import is terminated with a corresponding message (in SPAM step ADDON_CONFLICTS_?). To be able to continue, you must have resolved all conflicts using
CRTs.
For add-ons delivered by SAP, the relevant CRTs are offered in the SAPNet R/3 frontend or in the SAPNet Web frontend. You can request and download CRTs from there. After the queue has been completed with the required CRTs, you can continue with the importing the Support Packages.
Since SAP partners cannot offer their own CRTs in the SAPNet, they have to make them available to their customers in another way.
Go to
My Company's Application Components->SAP SOLUTION MANAGER-> SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 4.0-> Entry by Component-> SAP Solution Manager
Under ST-400 you will find the CRT's.
Download them and place in your EPS\in directory and continue the SP.

Hi Shaji
That was a very good feedback from you. The problem that i am facing now is that when i click on the CRT in service.sap.com and add it to the download basket, nothing happens and i cannot see it in the download basket also. Could you help me with this.
And the other question is that do i have to apply the previous crt's mentioned there, or can i just pick what is necessary for moving ahead.
Thank you in advance

Commencing on April 2, 2007, SAP Solution Manager will be the only source from which customers receive maintenance updates for SAP NetWeaver 2004s and beyond, as well as applications based upon it, including mySAP Business Suite 2005 applications.
So,you need to get it approved and download it through Manitanance Optimizer.Check out this link

You need to download only what is mentioned and move ahead.
Cheers

Hi Shaji
Ok Got it. But just one question is that i dont see this component in the Package level in SPAM. Do i have to install a plug-in in order for this component to be shown up in SPAM.
Please let me know wht shld i do and how to go abt this.

Yes you need to install the plug-in ST-400 in Solution Manager.
For ECC6 its not required, you just need to download, copy the CRT to EPS\in and continue with the SP.
Just found this link, could be useful :

Seach results in SAP Software Distribution Center :
Search with string "SCM"
Choose the link from the list and download. Is that what you require?
