Creation of node failed

Hi,

after getting started last week with BOPF by help of the information I found in this community, this week I've started creating my first real subnode.

But I'm not able to create a subnode on our DEV system within transaction BOPF_EWB.

I get the information message "Creation of the Node has been failed" without further information what's going wrong.

The subnode is not created within the BO but the DDIC objects entered in the wizard (combined structure, table type, db table) were created.

What could be the problem? Any ideas? I haven't found any note regarding this error.

Release is 702 with SP08 for SAP_BS_FND.

Thanks for help in advance

Svenja

Hi Svenja,

you did nothing wrong. Unfortunatly we support the creation of subnodes only with 702/SP11. For details concerning supported features, please refer to the BOPF Feature availability matrix . The transaction BOB mentioned in the matrix is the BOPF Enhancement Workbench - but allowing to create own BOs.

Kind regards

Thea

Hi Thea,

thanks for the answer. In the meantime we could install 702/SP11 and the creation of subnodes is working now with transaction BOPF_EWB.

However firstly it was not working when I tried creating subnode within an already existing enhancement.

So I had to delete the enhancement created before SP11 upgrade (by the way deletion of enhancements was also not working with SP08) firstly and had to create it newly.

Regards

Svenja
