creating selection field for a table

hi all,

i want to create a table with n numbr of fields and it is mentioned that i need to create selection parameters with some fileds, how can i do this?

hi,

i dont think you have a problem in creating table.

for the second issue create a table mainteaneance genarator with the fields you require.

yes you are right. i don have problem in creating the table, but creating by SM30 will always create the same fields as in table , how ll it display the sel;ection fields?

you also have option to hide fields in TMG.just check in SCN.

I guess your second issue are refering to data selection based on certain fields of the table. Can't you use Se16 for that ?

When you create a table in the data dictionary, in SE16 you can choose any fields of the table as selection parameters you want.

maybe i can do that, but this i need to do it everytime i enter into se16. i guess so, i am not sure.

Yes, that is correct. You will have to do it everytime you goto SE16.
