Creating Purchase Order

Can u please help me to create a purchase order at transaction code ME21.

please tell me the mandatory fields...

input filed's required ....please give me a sample data ....i am just practicing LSMW and stuck up in creating a purchase order.

ME21 is to create a purchase order, not a sales order. If you want to create a sales order, you need to use transaction VA01.

The required fields and the values for these fields highly depends on the configuration behind the transactions and the master data. All this differs from installation to installation.

I would suggest getting with the MM functional lead person to walk you thru it. Or you can simply go to ME21 and start entering the PO, the system will tell you what information is needed, like Purchase Org, Purchase Group, etc, etc.

Again, the required fields and the values are highly dependent on configuration, and the MM lead should be able to help you.

Just check the existing PO in me23n and create a similar one like that.
