creating new transaction

hi guys,

how we create new transaction like ZVA01...plz send me the Tcode..

first create one module pool prog.

then go to tcode >> se93.

there mention the tcode u want to create for eg..zabc., put some short descpriton

then give the progname and the screen no of the same....

If you want to craete a transaction variant, use SHD0 transaction.

do that in SE93

goto SE93

Give Ztransaction name and create

Give short text and select second radiobutton(if report and selection screen)

Give program name and screen number as 1000

save

or

Just go to se 80 and open your program or anything and right click on it there you can find option as create transaction

Hi

first copy the program to your new program, then download the Screens of VA01 to desktop and upload to New Program and see that everything get copied to your new ZVA01, after creating the new Tcode in SE93 to the New ZProgram.

Why you need similar transaction, when VA01 is there? do you need some enhancement for it? use the related exits as per your requirement.

But developing a similar transaction similar to VA01 is not that easy.

from there u have to specify the program name or any one which u want to make a tcode and then save it and come out directly,

Hi Murali,

The transaction for creating a transaction code if SE93.

There you eneter the transaction code you want to create after that enter the Text . Select the radiobutton that how do you want the particular transaction code that you create to RUN. Then write the Program name with which you want to attch that particular transaction code . Program name for as you said Transaction VA02 can be seen by ..

SYSTEM -> STATUS. please copy the PROGRAM(SCREEN) and paste it here also see the screen number , which is the staring screen number.

Hope this may help you for creating transaction code copy for VA02.

We can create a transaction code for the following:

1. Module pool program

2. Report program.

3.Method of a class.

To create a transaction code for the above we have to provide the following data:

1. Module pool program and the screen number for the module pool programs.

2. Program name and 1000 as the selection screen.

3. Class name, method name and authorization object.

e.g. zva01.then enter the report name for which u want to create transaction.

3. Enter the short text.

4. Then enter the program name.
