Hi All,
I have created a
1. transaction Z_SC_CCCONFGN -->
2. it will display first screen(010) with warehouse number as selection screen parameter
3. When we enter the warehouse number ex:012 it will display 3 pushbuttons on the second screen(011)
a. Warehouse configuraion
b. CC-ZONE configuration
c. Configure Blocking Reason
4. When I click a. Warehouse configuration pushbutton , it will call the table maintenance transacton for table (Z_SC_WCONF)
with input parameters and should display only the warehouse number data entered on the selection parameter
warehouse no ,cc-start,and month.
012 , 01.02 and 1 .
5. When I click on New entries and enter the new data for other warehouse number and save it , the system should not allow me to save and it should allow to save the new entries of the 012 warehouse only .
Could you please suggest me how to handle creating new entries for 012 only .
Please provide the solution <removed by moderator>
Regards,
Bharat Kumar .

Hi Bharat,
To call the table maintainence generator with specific selection criteria you can use the FM 'VIEW_MAINTENANCE_CALL'
go through the complete documentation of this FM if you are not aware how to use it. And to resrtict the new entries
saved you will have to go for Events.
Thanks,
Pawan

Hi
You can use Events in table maintenance generator and write code to handle this.
make use of event 05 and use internal table extract of table maintenance generator.
If this table is being maintained other way like using other transaction code, then you need to consider that scenario also.
If input value is not available in table maintenance generator event, then use export and import to memory or other options.

Hi,
You need to validate the data being entered by user in events for TMG.
Select the event 05 and check the value being entered by user when he clicks on save.You can add your code in the form routine.
If it doesn't match the value from sel screen, throw an error.

You could call FM VIEW_MAINTENANCE_SINGLE_ENTRY (*) with structure partially filled to create a single new entry via maintenance dialog.
CALL FUNCTION 'VIEW_MAINTENANCE_SINGLE_ENTRY'
EXPORTING
action = 'INS'
view_name = 'ZVIEW' " name of maintenance view
insert_key_not_fixed = 'X' " clear flag if full key is provided
no_transport = 'X'
CHANGING
entry = wa_record " structure of the view
EXCEPTIONS
OTHERS = 1.or you can call the maintenance dialog at higher level (VIEW_MAINTENANCE_CALL), with selection parameter (DBA_SELLIST) filled.

Raymond
