Creating new Format for SAP Printing

Hello,

Just wondering is there a way to create a new Format for the Printing of ABAP Reports? The thing is the maximum number of columns set appears to be 255 but I have a report with a line size of 410.

Is there a way for me to create a format that suits my needs? I tried going to the TCode SPAD then Device Types and Formats but the option to create is greyed out.

I would need clarification in how would read_text resolve the creation of a new print format.

Hi Chad,

I don't think it is possible,but we will have alternative like displaying report in XL file.

I had same req some time back,then we displayed data into XL File.

It is not possible to display more than 255 charcters in each line in abap editor.
