When creating the material through mm01 and when on classification tab if i am taking the class type 023.its taking too much time for next screen.can any one suggest me?

Did you execute an Abap trace (SAT, SE30) to find the steps with longuer duration?

I am not in front of an SAP system, but, are you using a standard classification or of your own? What is the time difference between it and others? If you only need a specific part of the classification why not create a narrow one of your own that only contains that? Is this a mandatory part of the material creation process in your system? Because if not, you can skip that part and create the material without it and have a background job/UE/BADI/enhancement do it afterwards.
