Hi all,
I need to create a customized menu just like SPRO > SAP Reference IMG. Not inside SAP Reference IMG but a separate menu.
I need to add different nodes to the newly created menu and also maintainance view of a self created customizing table.
I have found many posts on creating area menu. But not the above mentioned one.
Please suggest me how to do this.
Thanks & Regards,
NarsiReddy.

Hi,
You have option in SE43 (Add entry as sub node), by using this you can assign different sub nodes(Transaction codes etc...).
Thanks,
Ashok.

Hi NarsiReddy
You can do that in t code SE43. Before creating your own, have a look at an already existing one S000. It will give you an idea how to go about it.

What are the contents of the menu?
If they are all going to point to Programs/ Tcodes, then you may use Area Menu.
If they are all going to point to Table maintenance, then you may use View cluster.
Thanks,
Juwin

Hi juwin,
I need to add table maintainance and also documentations.
So do i need to use Area Menu or View cluster?
Thanks & regards,
NarsiReddy.

View cluster cannot handle documentations. It can handle only a set of tables/ views to be maintained.
Thanks,
Juwin

Area menu is a bunch of Tcodes. While viewing the area menu, you may keep the cursor on the particular Tcode, and goto Extras->Display documentation, to view the documentation of the program.
Thanks,
Juwin
