Hi All,
I need to create a Package for use in Transport requests.
The transaction for the same is SE21.
But if I enter relevant details and click it gives me an error saying Super Package missing.
Please tell me the process of creating a package.
Thanks in advance,
Archana.

Hi,
you can create your pacakage directly in SE80.
In se 80.
choose pacakge and
below this give pacakage name you want to create. then press enter.
it will ask it does not exist .do you want to create.
then you can create.

Ruchika

Hi All,
The problem is that when I try to create a package in SE21 or SE80 I get the following message:
"Package name must begin with A-R, U-X, or TEST".
Is there some way where I can define the Z-namespace.
Best Regards,
Gajendra.

Archana,
Have you tried package creation using package builder 'SPACKAGE' ?
I thing this error has to do something with package hierarchy..
Do you want a single package or you want this package to be in some hierarchy of other packages?
If you want single package then select 'Not a main package' for Package type.
Try SPACKAGE, i think you will get solution there .
