Create Service Order via BAPI_PO_CREATE or BAPI_CREATE1

Hello,

since days I try to create a service order via BAPI_PO_CREATE or BAPI_CREATE1. The result so far is, that the purchase order is created, but afterward EKPO is not propper (quantity, price) filled, or I get different error messages.

I'm working in R/3 4.6C environement.

Does anyone has experience with creating service orders via BAPI and can maybe provide me a propper working example.

Hi,

The BAPI BAPI_PO_CREATE is for creating purchase order. How can you create the service order using this. I mean is there any field where we can mention that this call is to create service and not for PO.

And try out this BAPI BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN which is used to create service orders.

Hello Prasanna,

he wants to create a purchase order for external services (using the item category D). Therefore BAPI_PO_CREATE resp. BAPI_PO_CREATE1 are the correct one's.

He sent me some screenshots. I'll post the solution (when we find it) here.
