Create screen variant in clean system

Hi everyone,

With SHD0 we can create screen variant. But how can we create a screen variant in a clean system? By clean, I mean there is not a single business data.

For example, we have a system just for development, without a single business data. Now, we want to create a screen variant for transaction MB22. Since we are not allowed to create reservation, so we can only stay on the initial screen of MB22, but how can we create a screen variant for the detail screen of the transaction?

Is that possible without business data?

Any idea please share.

Hi,

For creating the recording you need to go inside the t-code which is not possible without data

I suggest just create some test data and create the recording without data it is not possible.

Hi Jack,

Variants allow you to save sets of input values for programs that you often start with the same selections.

So basically it has got existence because of the data.

If there is no data then there is no variant.
