create screen doesn't exist in Module Pool programming

Hi Gurus,

I'm trying to create a container in Module pool programming. In SE80 when i right click on my program name create screen option does not exist on the list so i can't reach grey layout screen. (instead of screen dynpro exist on list)

Could you please help

the gray part is normal, it does not mean it is locked.

You just have to click on the area & press on the picture (at the left) corresponding to the element you would like to add.

Dynpro is the old name of screen

zynp 01 Please post another question, the current one is answered.Note that you can create all types of elements with the "character screen painter" (the "graphical screen painter" just adds some nice features like drag & drop).

You need to do this setting - Utilities ? Settings ? Screen Painter ? Graphical layout editor in SE51

You are on the wrong editing mode.

Do Utilities-->Settings--> Screen painter and check the checkbox.

Dear zynp 01, good morning, you must enter to More -> Utilities -> Settings -> Screen Painter -> Check Graphical Layout Editor. Good Luck!
