Create Sales order with reference contract number

I am creating sales orders using IDOC of type ORDERS05. The IDOC segment E1EDK02 with a qualifier of '005' (Customer contract) can be used to supply the reference contract. I use also segment E1EDP02 with a qualifier of '005' on position level. I'm using IDOC_INPUT_ORDERS to process segments, however, new sales orders are creaed without reference to contract number.

Has anyone ever processed a reference contract in this manner ?.
