Create PO using BAPI with Explicit PO Number

Hello Guru's,

I need some help, there's a requirement where i need to create PO in SAP by explicitly passing the PO Number (EBELN).

This PO Number (EBELN) along with the data which is required to create PO will be provided to me in the excel sheet and i need to create PO in SAP.

Is there any BAPI which can create PO with explicit PO number which i will pass to it.

Try BAPI_PO_CREATE1, use field POHEADER-PO_NUMBER and set POHEADER-PO_NUMBERX too, of course that must be consistent with the Customizing (external number)

I think you need to define a PO document type and assign a number range for external numbers to it, if you have done that you can use the "normal " BAPI for creating the PO.
