Create entries

Hi SAP ALL,

I hav created database table using SE11

I hav also mentioned FIELDS, Data element & technical settings

when i want to create entries using Utilities -> Table content -> Create entries it is in display mode

I hav reactivated but getting same result.

How to solve this proble plz send me the proper procedure.

Hi,

Please check that in the table's general attributes the "data maintenance without restrictions" is set.

BTW, I would prefer a generated view maintenance.

hi,

just check Delivery and maintenance attributes. Here select the option Display/Maintenace allowed.You can also create a minatenace generator to maintain entries through SM30.

Hi Krish,

Display tour table in SE11 then Utilities -> Table content -> Create entries -> New Entries.

Now You can creat entries for your table.

Hi,

Check in the second tab (Delivery and Maintenance) of se11 the field Data Browser/Table View Maint. should be Display/ MAintenances allowed so as to enable you to enter values of create Table Maintenance Generator.

1. SE11, go to tab 'Delivery and Maintenance', change the "Data Browser/Table View Maint." to be "X Display and Maintenance allowed"

2. Save and active the change.

3. Goto Utilities -> Table content -> Create entries -> New Entries.

In your table,check the Delivery and maintenance attributes.

In That select the option Display/Maintenace allowed.

You can also create a maintenance generator to maintain entries through T.code SM30.

then,

Utilities->table maintenance genrator.

While creating a table do the following steps :-

a) Fill in all the fields that u want in ur table.

b) Click on technical settings.

In Data Class enter 'APPL0'.

In size category enter '0'.

Activate and Save.

c) Go back.

In menu bar go to 'EXTRAS' --> 'ENHANCEMENT CATEGORY' --> select the radiobutton 'Can be enhanced (character type or

numeric)'---> enter.

d) In menu bar go to 'UTILITIES' --> 'TABLE MAINTENANCE GENERATOR'

In Authorization Group enter '&NC&'

In Function Group enter your table name.

In package enter the package in which u want to save the table.

Select the radiobutton 'one step'.

enter in overview screen '1'.

click on create.

and save.

e) Use Tcode SM30 and enter your table name and click on 'Maintain.'

Now u will be able to enter, modify ,delete entries directly in the table.

Hi Krishna,

Go to SE11-> Check tab Delivery & Maintenance -> Data Browser/Table View Maint. vaue should be Display/Maintenence allwoed.

Then go to utilities-> create table maintenance generator. and then by using SM30 you will be able to create the table entries.
