create conversion routines

can we create conversion routines for fields at domain level?

i have some fields from ztable..and when i'm entering some values in the field on of the screen

it says the value does not exists,but they do..if i give some spaces and enter..it accepts...and for some

i dont need to give spaces..

Hi,

Conversion Routines are basically function modules Which are used to chnage data format from one i/p type to a specific output type.Please refer the thread below for more Details:

Hi Anil,

If you are using standard domains you dont need to create them

if you are creating your own just enter ALPHA in the definition tab in conversion I/O field and press enter the system POPUPS the FM and just select the check boxex. thats it.

the following are the suggested FMs

CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_INPUT

CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_OUTPUT

CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_RANGE_I

CONVERSION_EXIT_ALPHA_RANGE_O
